Jose Mourinho invades the pitch to tackle Olly Murs at Soccer Aid

Monday, June 09, 2014 by YAHOO Sport
Key Words: Mourinho Olly

Jose Mourinho managed the Rest of the World team that faced Sam Allardyce's England side in the annual Soccer Aid match held at Old Trafford to benefit UNICEF — an organization Mourinho has accused of conspiring against him in the past. The best part of the match, which has produced such moments as Woody Harrelson's winning penalty and Gordon Ramsay getting flattened by Teddy Sheringham in past years, was of course produced by Mourinho when he came onto the pitch to take down singer Olly Murs.

Mourinho gave a devilish grin as he walked back to the bench and Murs seemed astonished but amused. It's just amazing Mourinho hasn't done this in a real match yet.

The England side included the likes of Stephen Moyer, Matt Smith, Jamies Redknapp and Carragher, Paul Ince and Matt Le Tissier. The Rest of the World side had James McAvoy, Jeremy Renner, Adam "Man vs. Food" Richman, Edwin van der Sar, Alessandro Del Piero, Clarence Seedorf, Edgar Davids, Jaap Stam, and Andriy Shevchenko.
