World Cup football is intense and can evoke great emotion from the world’s best footballers.
With a goal late in extra-time being their doom, we saw how Switzerland were crushed by the late blow.
Whereas on the other hand we could see the absolute elation from Argentina at scraping into the quarter-finals.
The team had to dig deep and were saved by Angel Di Maria, who scored from a Lionel Messi pass, sending the crowd wild.
We can assume the celebrations continued in the dressing room and here the duo pose with fellow attacker Lavezzi as they bask in the glow of a dramatic victory, a mark of champions.
