Vlaar fears Suarez as Aston Villa prepare for Liverpool clash

WARY ... Villa skipper Ron Vlaar
RON VLAAR says Aston Villa must beware Jekyll and Hyde Liverpool star Luis Suarez.
Villa skipper Vlaar, who believes Suarez is one of the best he has faced, says he is losing his reputation as a diver — though the Uruguayan appeared to throw a
punch at Chile’s Gonzalo Jara in midweek.
But centre-half Vlaar, 28, who faced former Ajax star Suarez when he played for
Feyenoord, believes the Premier League’s leading scorer has cleaned up his act.
Vlaar said: “You talk about the dives in England, it was the same in Holland.
“I think it’s getting better. You don’t hear about it so much. Everybody talks about his qualities, not his diving.
“He’s a very good player, very strong. He’s always in the right spot, and the way he dribbles with the ball is great.”
Villa are looking for a third successive victory and Vlaar added: “If you win games that’s where it all starts for confidence.”
