Script:

Final preparations for Germany as they get ready for their fourth consecutive World Cup semi final.

They take on the hosts Brazil and head coach Joachim Loew is hoping their past tournament experience will prove vital.

SOUNDBITE (German) Joachim Loew, Germany head coach:

"For us it's a challenge to play against the hosts. And of course we have the experience of previous tournaments but then again every match is different and can be judged differently and normally have a different outcome."

Lowe admits he is concerned about recent poor tackles in the tournament and thinks referees have to act.

SOUNDBITE (German) Joachim Loew, Germany head coach:

"I believe that we have to see that this is really brutal and bad fouls have to stop. Because otherwise we will not need Neymars, Messis and Royces, we will have other types of players that will just go out to destroy. And this is a World Cup where there has been dynamic and physical play, but I have seen matches where the limits of what can be tolerated has been surpassed"

Jermone Boateng has started every match so far and he thinks that this will be the toughest test.

SOUNDBITE (German) Jerome Boateng, defender:

"Well I think that Brazil is playing a home World Cup and they have an advantage with their fans pushing them forwards. We have a huge test in front of us and we want to go through it and we are all very much motivated."
