SOUNDBITE: (Dutch) Louis Van Gaal, Head Coach - the Netherlands:(on whether De Jong is playing tomorrow):

"I have no idea if De Jong will be fit or not for the game. He had a fitness test today and we will have to wait and see how he looks tomorrow, because if you return to playing too quickly, you always have a reaction. So we have to wait and see what reaction there is tomorrow, and if the reaction is good and he can play, then a miracle will have taken place."

SOUNDBITE: (Dutch) Louis Van Gaal, Head Coach - the Netherlands:(on how closely matched the game will be)

"The results have been close in the quarter-finals and in the round of the last 16. So I would say it is going to be a fifty-fifty match, and, I mean, we have to be a bit lucky, the coin has to face your way, as we say in Dutch."

SOUNDBITE: Stefan de Vrij, Defender - the Netherlands:(on the Dutch defenders)

"First of all, we have confidence and we play with confidence. I know the Dutch media didn't believe in us, they aren't very confident in us, but we were confident, and I think it shows. It pays off, it's just great to be able to play at this World Cup. It is a dream for every player, particularly for the younger players. For us it is the first tournament, it is a wonderful experience."
