The Arsenal forward only took to Twitter yesterday

For the squeamish among you, please look away now.

Theo Walcott has revealed the extent of his knee injury with some gruesome images on Twitter, but has insisted that the knee is "getting stronger every day" four months since undergoing an operation on the injury which ruled him out of the World Cup.

A cruciate ligament injury suffered in Arsenal's 2-0 FA Cup third round victory ruled the 25-year-old out for six months, forcing him to miss this summer's tournament in Brazil, which starts next month.
