The 2014 World Cup stadium menu explains why those extra wide seats will be necessary

Wednesday, May 28, 2014 by YAHOO Sport

Each of Brazil's 12 World Cup stadiums are required by law to have special seats for obese fans, but after seeing what people will be eating during these matches, they might want to add more. Here's the stadium concession menu for the tournament...

Right at the top is the double cheeseburger for R$13.00 ($5.81 US) and the double hot dog for R$10 ($4.47) because why stuff just one hot dog in your mouth when you can do two at the same time? Chicken salad, turkey and cheese, and veggie sandwiches will also be offered for the same price as the double hot dog, but who opts for one sandwich for the same price as two mystery meat tubes?

The menu also includes a variety of chocolate options, including one named after 2014 World Cup mascot Fuleco. In the drinks section, the tournament's official sponsors impose themselves with Coca-Cola ($3.58) and Budweiser ($5.81) products elbowing their way in between local favorites like Guarana and Brahma — which is cheaper ($4.47) than the Budweiser and also offered in a non-alcoholic version for the same price as water ($2.68...because it probably is water). Then, of course, there's the popcorn and ice cream offerings, plus regional cuisine that includes beans, fish and chips (where England will play their first match), and guava cake.

So if you're attending any of the matches be sure to wear sweatpants.
