Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge posts sad face Instagram video after England WC exit

Sunday, June 22, 2014 by 101 GREAT GOALS

Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge may be one of the few England players to leave the World Cup with any credit.

Sturridge scored against Italy and whilst he wasn’t overly impressive against Uruguay, looks to be firmly established as England’s number one striker.

On Saturday, overlooking the sea and sipping from a coconut on the beach, Sturridge posted a video on Instagram.

The tag line to the Liverpool striker’s video is: “Clearing my mind.. I’m sure I’ll feel like this for a long time. This feeling is going to drive me on. God willing to the next level… #love”.

Liverpool and England fans will be hoping the disappointment pushes Sturridge on to bigger and better things.
