The Bleus boss has warned his side that they must perform to the best of their abilities against top teams if their 2014 World Cup campaign is to be a success
France coach Didier Deschamps has urged his side to pick up their form after slipping to a 3-0 loss to Brazil on Sunday.
Goals from Oscar, Hernanes and Lucas Moura were all scored in the second half as the Selecao recorded a convincing victory to ensure les Bleus ended their post-season tour winless.
"We had less energy after the break," he told TF1 after the game.
"The second goal came because of an error on my part. We can make mistakes but not lack commitment. We didn't have any legs or our heads.
"We played for 20 minutes against Uruguay and for 45 against Brazil. The objective is to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
"However, even against adversity, when we face top teams, we must be able to do better."
