Uruguay head home

Uruguay flew home after they were knocked out of the World Cup by Colombia in the last 16 on Saturday.

For Uruguay's fans, Rio de Janeiro is the last stop on their World Cup adventure. óscar Tabárez's men were beaten by Colombia in the last 16 on Saturday.
Luis Suárez was crucial to Uruguay's progress to the knockout stages but they were without the controversial Liverpool striker at the Maracana. Suárez watched back in Uruguay after being banned for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini.
La Celeste were stunned in their opening Group D game when Costa Rica took all three points.
But Uruguay's hopes were sky high once again when a Suárez brace beat England and they won against four-time world champions Italy.
This is likely to be the last World Cup for the 35-year-old Diego Forlán and it'll probably be the final World Cup for many of his team-mates in this ageing side.
For many Uruguayans la garra charrúa is a source of pride. But at a tournament where Suárez was sent home in disgrace, reality really does bite.
