It was Samba dancing, Dutch style as their fans danced in the streets on Sunday, to celebrate their team beating Mexico 2-1 to reach the quarter finals of the World Cup.
By contrast, the Mexicans had removed their sombreros and looked dejected after a late Klaas Jan Huntelaar penalty knocked them out, one the Mexicans didn't agree with...
"They robbed the game from us, those Dutch. It was no penalty, it wasn't a penalty," said Mexican fans Fernando Garcia and Gabriel Martinez.
The Dutch on the other hand felt their win was never in doubt....
"In the space of five minutes, we killed off Mexico, perfect, classic style, to the final," said Dutch fan Erns Jannderee.
Back in Amsterdam, 45.000 Dutch fans gathered at Amsterdam's Museum Square to watch the game.
The Oranje fans as ever decked out in their famous colours.
Yet it was so nearly a famous flop having won all three of their group matches prior to the clash with the Central Americans.
The country can now look forward to a quarter-final tie with Costa Rica or Greece, yet surely they'll hope a less nerve jangling finish, or perhaps that's just the way the Amsterdammers like it....
