Germany captain Philipp Lahm has described Algeria as being an 'unpleasant' team to play against, and says that three-time winners can't afford to underestimate the North Africans.
Script:
Germany will be overwhelming favourites as they take on Algeria in the last 16 of the World Cup on Monday.
The three-times winners came out on top of a difficult-looking Group G.
But captain Philipp Lahm insists their opponents should not be underestimated.
SOUNDBITE: (German) Philipp Lahm, Germany captain (on Algeria):
"Okay, I wouldn't know the names of players and where they play, but I know one or two I would pronounce wrongly. But let me tell you that we have definitely studied our opponent, we have had video analysis, we know what is in store for us. I know this a team that certainly show that they are deservedly in the round of 16. They defend together, it is a team that does not want to get the goal, they don't want to lose one single duel, they prefer to play foul than to lose a ball."
The prize for the winner in Porto Alegre will be a quarter-final clash against France or Nigeria.
