SOUNDBITE (French) Vahid Halilhodzic, Algeria coach:

"The Algerian team are able to surprise a few people, we are confident, we have been progressing every single match, and tomorrow we will need to be exceptional to get through to the last eight. Last time I spoke about Russia, I said we had a lot to lose but tomorrow we have nothing to lose."

"I have watched all of Germany's matches, obviously. It is really impressive how they finish the matches very quickly, the pace is really impressive. Sometimes they have highs and lows, some teams have taken advantage of this, but usually, usually, they are very good until the end."
