Brazil trained on Monday ahead of their quarter-final match against Colombia at their headquarters in Teresopolis, a mountain city 100 kilometres north of Rio.
The session saw Brazil's reserve squad take on the U20's team of Brazilian club side Fluminense. And Brazil's star man Neymar who picked up a minor against Chile, watched on from the sidelines.
Neymar is expected to be back on the training ground soon and will be fit to face Colombia, according to team doctor Jose Luiz Runco.
The Brazilian team has received heavy criticism from local media following the penalty shoot-out victory over Chile, in Belo Horizonte. Captain Thiago Silva declined to be one of the initial penalty-takers and was seen sitting with his back to the action, crying.
Head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari gave an interview on Brazilian TV claiming he may change his system, to a 3-5-2 formation. It was this formation that gave Scolari success with Brazil in the 2002 World Cup campaign,
Brazil will host Colombia for a place in the semi-finals on Friday at Estadio Castelao in Fortaleza.
