"The only thing I expect is to become champion, we will see what happens in the end. It doesn't matter if we score many goals, if we play one game good and the other badly. Brazil being champions, that's what matters most to me, it's all I want."

"I don't want to put on a show. The last thing we are looking for is put on a show; we are here to win. If, at some point, this means defend during the whole game and winning half-nil we will. It doesn't matter if we do not do tricks, nutmegs, put on a show or do not put a smile on everybody's face. We are not there for this goal. What we want is to commit, run until our last breath and then leave as winners. At the end of the game we can see if we've put on a show or not."
