SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) Ronaldo, Former Brazilian international:
"I don't believe there was a hunt for Neymar but I do think the injury was a very violent one. I think we were able to see clearly on television that there was an intention by Colombia's Juan Zúñiga to actually cause harm. I don't think it was a normal football challenge. I don't know if Zúñiga had planned this beforehand but I do believe it was very aggressive, very violent."
SOUNDBITE: (German) Lothar Matthaus, Former German international (on Neymar being injured for the semi-final v Germany):
"As to the World Cup semi-final between Germany and Brazil, let me tell you that the injury to Neymar came as a shock. We're certainly not happy about that. Some people may think Germany has a little advantage in the absence of Neymar but certainly not. We want to play against the best players in the world and Neymar is one of those who can make the difference. We were looking forward to this match and playing the hosts. But we also had tears in our eyes when we saw Neymar being stretchered off yesterday and heard the severity of his back injury. I think all German fans would agree that we wish him all the best and a quick recovery."
