SOUNDBITE (English): Vincent Kompany, Belgium captain: (on his feeling to be going home)
"None of us thought that this Argentina game would be a benchmark. We thought we'd win the game and then we'd go to the final. That's how the team was thinking. So obviously we leave with some disappointment. But at the same time, it's a young group and, thinking back some years, four or five years, we would have never dreamed to come so far. I just have to say congratulations again to the whole team. For the rest, we have some margins to improve and we'll be a tough team to play against in the years to come."
SOUNDBITE (English): Vincent Kompany, Belgium captain: (on his physical rest)
"I crave for football and winning matches and trophies. Obviously I play in a club where every year is a possibility. I started the season a little bit early last year because I wanted to be fit for this season, so I started maybe the 28th of June last year. So I've been playing football for over a year. I think physically it's just a necessity to have now a couple of weeks off."
