As Brazil mourned the annihilation of their World Cup dream. Over in Berlin, Germany fans were celebrating every one of their seven goals.
The 7-1 semi-final win will be one of those 'where were you when' moments for Germans, these fans can say they were on a sofa on the pitch at Union Berlin's stadium.
Thomas Muller opened the scoring in the eleventh minute, Miroslav Klose made it two to become the tournament's all-time record goalscorer, Toni Kroos then got two more before Sami Khedira made it 5-0 within half an hour.
Two second half goals from Andre Schurrle made it seven before Oscar pulled one back for Brazil. It's a result that's stunned even the Germans.
SOUNDBITE (English), Robert Hahn, German fan:
"Today is unbelievable. I never believed it before. So we are glad, and we hope that we will win the world championship this year."
To do that they will have to beat either Argentina or their near rivals Netherlands in the final. It would be hard to find anyone here who would bet against it.
