Commuters in Rio de Janeiro are still in shock after Brazil's 7-1 defeat to Germany in the World Cup semi-final, as the morning papers blast Phil Scolari and his team.
Script:
They've had a chance to sleep on the 7-1 defeat to Germany but Brazil's pain is still raw...
SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) Fabio Mendes, bus conductor:
"They invested so much in this World Cup and now this shameful result, unfortunately we just have to put up with it."
The morning papers were just as damning, Embarrassment, shame, humiliation.
SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) Everton Ferreira, local resident:
"It was indeed embarrassing and an humiliation, we feel that it could have been better, we could have had a better strategy, but it is what it is, it's football, things are unexplainable, we just have to keep going."

Many feared another Maracanazo here in Rio but they needn't have been concerned, this headline says "Congratulations. The runners-up of the 1950 World Cup were always accused of being responsible for the biggest embarrassment in football, yesterday we understood what shame really is."
For a nation that prides itself more on football than anything else this night will haunt Brazil indefinitely.
