Following their 7-1 demolition by Germany in the World Cup semi-final, Brazil trained ahead of their third-place play-off match against Netherlands at their base in Teresopolis on Thursday (10 July).

Brazil trained on Thursday for the first time since their 7-1 thrashing at the hands of Germany in the World Cup semi-final.

The squad received a visit from injured talisman Neymar.

He was greeted by Thiago Silva and the rest of the team and spent some time speaking with the players.

Neymar was also spotted speaking with Brazil coach Luis Felipe Scolari, just a day after his agent heavily criticised the Brazilian coach.

Neymar's agent went on to apologise for his harsh and insulting comments towards Felipao.

And there appeared to be no bad blood between the player himself and the coach.

The striker was injured with a broken vertebrae during Brazil's 2-1 win over Colombia in the quarter-finals last week.

Without him and more importantly their leader in defence, Thiago Silva, Brazil were humiliated 7-1 by Germany in the semi-final and knocked out of the World Cup.

Scolari's men will face Netherlands in Saturday's third place game.
