SOUNDBITE (English): Jurgen Klinsmann, 1990 World Cup winner with West Germany:

"Germany-Argentina is a very special final because of the history, you know, with having met already in two previous World Cup finals. And I think in both finals, every time the better team really won, you know. In 1986 Argentina with Maradona had the better side, and in 1990 - when I had the pleasure to be part of that team - we were clearly the better team, you know, even if it was not such a nice final, ending with a penalty kick and it's only 1-0 but we were clearly the dominating team in that game. And I think now, the favourite is Germany. I think Germany has all the tools in the world to finish things off, but still you gotta find ways and you can't concede a goal against a very dangerous Argentina side so you got to respect them. But I think, looking at it from the outside, Germany is the favourite.

"Well, I expect - I expect a great atmosphere at one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world, the Maracana, where every player would love to play a World Cup final. Um, I obviously keep all my fingers crossed for Germany. I want them finally to get the cup back to Germany after 24 years of waiting and I think they are ready for it. I think they have the quality to win it and tick those things off. I hope that it's going to be a beautiful celebration all over Brazil and that it will transfer to the entire world because this tournament has been unbelievably beautiful, made by the hosts Brazil."
