The biggest security operation in Rio de Janeiro's history is underway.
25,000 police and soldiers have been deployed for the World Cup final between Germany and Argentina.
Roads leading to the Maracana have been closed since last night, only people who live here or those with tickets can get into the area around the stadium.
The game is a sell-out of course so 75,000 fans will be in the arena for football's showpiece event.
Authorities say over 70,000 Argentineans are in the city which could cause its own problems.
There is a huge football rivalry between them and the hosts but so far at least the atmosphere is more fun than hostile.
