Neymar still limping

Tuesday, July 01, 2014 by Marca.com

Brazil star Neymar was limping visibly when he arrived at the team's Granja Comary training base in Teresópolis, as the 'Seleção' got back to work ahead of the World Cup quarter-finals.

A video released by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) showed the 22-year-old moving gingerly as he got off the team bus, having picked up a knock in the last-16 clash against Chile.

The 'Canarinha' medical staff have put together a special training plan to make sure Neymar is able to shake off the pain in his left thigh and right knee in time for the quarter-final meeting with Colombia.

The forward isn't likely to train out on the grass at all this week, but team doctor José Luiz Runco assured reporters that the home favourite is more or less a dead cert to play in Friday's match.
